General Podiatry
Services
Podiatry is unique in that we practice many different
specialties but limit that practice to one specific area of the body.
As physicians, we take into consideration a patient's general health
status and perform a history and physical exam on your initial visit.
Your history will be updated periodically to insure we have an accurate
picture of your health. So please be sure to bring a current list
of your medications and allergies with you on your visit to our office.
We'll spend a little time discussing your current medical history, past
medical history and surgical history.
When we speak of general podiatry care,
we're referring to a wide spectrum of services for patients who may be
children, adults or seniors. Those services
include:
Pediatrics
Gait abnormalities, in-toe gait, flat feet, Sever's Disease (growing
pains), fractures and sprains
Adults
Plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle fractures and sprains, capsulitis, peripheral
nerve entrapments (Morton's neuroma and tarsal tunnel syndrome),
tendonitis, arthritis, infections, bunions, athlete's foot, psoriasis, stasis dermatitis, venous stasis
ulcerations, benign and malignant skin lesions, corn and callus
care, warts, frostbite, excessive perspiration (hyperhydrosis), fungal nail infections, ingrown nail infections, trauma to nails
