Self-Pay Financial Policy

Our goal is to provide you with affordable healthcare. As a self-pay patient, we offer a 30% discount for services provided in our office. The discount is based upon our Medicare approved fees. here's how it works;

1. First, to participate in our self-pay program, you must be uninsured. If you do have health insurance please inform us. Dr. Oster must honor contractual obligations if he is a provider in your insurance plan.

2. For self-pay patients, we offer a 30% discount off of our Medicare approved reimbursement amount. Payment for services is due in full on the date of service. If for any reason you do not pay in full at the time of service, your discount will only be 20% off of our Medicare approved amount. Your balance will be forwarded to our billing service for collection. The additional 10% charge is to cover our cost of billing and collection.

3. We accept cash, money orders and credit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

These charges represent the majority of services that we may provide in the office. This list of charges is a small representation of our self-pay fee schedule for services we provide. If hospitalization or out-patient surgery is necessary, we are able to quote our charges but we cannot quote charges for the hospital or same-day surgery center anesthesia services.
